The Black Heart
The Black Heart is a game made with the M.U.G.E.N engine by Andrés Borghi. It is a horror-themed fighting game with its own intro, characters, stages, screenpack and credits, as well as its own storyline which you can play in Story Mode. The game is considerably dark and gory, featuring Fatal Moves that are not unlike Mortal Kombat's Fatalities, in that the recipient of the attack is killed in an overly bloody fashion.
The game was released on Steam on October 24th, 2021 in celebration of the game's tenth anniversary, making it the first M.U.G.E.N full game to be released on the platform, albeit using the I.K.E.M.E.N GO engine due to its licence (MIT) permitting commercial redistribution.
